This post is going to turn into a personal one. Laura and I grew up together so these pictures of her in her wedding dress are special to me in more ways than one. I can still remember the day Laura asked me to be a part of her wedding day because I was so honored. I am always honored when people value my photography and want me to become their photographer but it is different when someone you’ve known for so long asks you. I was so excited to be involved in Laura’s wedding and you will see why later when I post on their wedding.
Laura and I grew up with families who were together often, we swam on the same swim teams and grew up by the pool together. Laura is younger than I so when she entered high school I took her and a few of her friends under my wing. I loved these girls! They became some of my favorite memories in high school and for that I am grateful! I wasn’t there for her entire high school career but what I did have I cherished.
As you will see, Laura is absolutely stunning and this simple asymmetrical dress is to die for, literally! The simplicity of Laura is what makes her so beautiful and not to mention she is the sweetest and most generous person! I am SO glad we have been reconnected through your wedding. I have truly enjoyed talking “teacher” talk and becoming friends again! Congratulations Laura!
